Grant Goals & Focus Areas

The primary goal of the IDOE Cambridge Math & Science Grant is to expand access to and improve performance in math and science courses across Indiana schools. This initiative supports the state’s broader mission to enhance workplace readiness through stronger STEM education.

Schools applying for the grant will identify how they plan to use Cambridge curriculum and resources to support math and science readiness. A list of suggested focus areas is provided in the grant documentation, but schools are encouraged to define custom goals aligned with their unique needs.

Applicants must describe how they will sustain the program after the grant period ends. In Indiana, many schools can continue the program with minimal cost due to the $2,495 reimbursement per student who earns the Honors Plus Seal via the Cambridge AICE Diploma.

Benefits of Cambridge in Indiana

  • Guaranteed college credit at all Indiana public higher education institutions, including Ivy Tech
  • Guaranteed college acceptance to Indiana public higher education institutions with the AICE Diploma
